Victor "Vic" W. Jones

Victor "Vic" W. Jones, age 89, of Manitowoc, formerly of Green Bay, WI, passed away early Sunday morning, March 21, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center, Hospice Care, of Manitowoc County, WI.Vic was born on August 5, 1931 in Wooster, OH, son of the late Kenneth and Lucille (Hartzler) Jones. He graduated from Wooster High School and continued his education at Findlay College receiving a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and lettered in wrestling. Vic married the former Rosemary Ward in Findlay, OH, and they were blessed with 69 years of marriage. Vic appreciated words. He was a voracious reader, played many word-games, and wrote limericks. He also was an avid golfer (two holes-in-one!) and recently developed a passion for yard-art. A life-long Republican, Vic strongly supported conservative values.Survivors include his wife: Rosemary; two sons and daughters-in-law: Kevin (Josette) Jones, Indianapolis, IN and Eric (Amy) Jones of Kenosha, WI; and his daughter and son-in-law: Vicki (Michael) Miskovsky, Mathews, VA. He is also survived by five grandchildren: Kathleen (Jonathan), Michael, Erika (Aden), Trevor and Nathan; and his great-grandson: Weston; his half-brother Ron (Vince) Reed; his step-brother: Larry Reed; his sister-in-law: Pat Jones; his brother-in-law; Eddie Pease, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother: Kenneth "Bruce" Jones, his sister: Sandy Pease, and his step-sister: Margaret (Bill) Ports.Vic's wishes were to have no services. Private burial of his cremated remains will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay, OH. The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory of Manitowoc, WI assisted the family with the arrangements.
