Susan M. Witt

Susan M. Witt, age 65, of Valders passed away suddenly at her home on Thursday evening, February 16, 2023.

Susan was born January 22, 1958, in Manitowoc, daughter of Rita (Poehls) Cisler and the late Allen Cisler.  She was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the Class of 1976.

Susan worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Holy Family Memorial Hospital for 20 years until her retirement.  She previously worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at St. Mary's nursing home for many years.  

Susan enjoyed the outdoors.  She enjoyed spending time with her husband at their camper at Devils River and walking their dog, Bailey.  Susan loved the Packers and spent many cold days at Lambeau Field.  Most of all she enjoyed her family and her role as wife, mom, and grandmother.  

Survivors include her husband:  David Witt, Valders; her children:  Elliott (Elizabeth) Swetlik; Sarah Swetlik (Troy Kubsh); Melissa (Jason) Rach; Victoria Christensen; Leslie Occiano; her grandchildren:  Aria, Annika, Austin, Nathaniel, Joshua, Jacob, Tyler, and Dakota; her mother:  Rita Cisler; her brother:  Mike Cisler; as well as many nieces and nephews.  Susan was preceded in death by her father Allen Cisler, brothers Richard Cisler and John "Yak" Cisler. 

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, February 24, 2023, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home (928 S. 14th St.), Manitowoc.  Officiating at the service will be Deacon Alan Boeldt.  The burial will take place at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, February 24, 2023, at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m.
