Shirley A. (Kaeser) Steeber

Shirley A. Steeber, age 90 of Manitowoc passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Aurora Medical Center.

Shirley was born September 23, 1932, in Vinton, Iowa, daughter of the late Floyd and Margaret (Heineman) Kaeser. She was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School with the class of 1951. On September 25, 1954, she married Emil P. Steeber at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Emil preceded her in death on June 17, 2005. Shirley was employed with various companies in Manitowoc for many years. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and was an accomplished cook and baker.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Glenn (Terri) Steeber and David (Kathy) Steeber; one daughter: Lynn Steeber, all of Manitowoc; one grandson: Peter (Kylie) Steeber, Manitowoc; two step granddaughters: Jennifer Hynek, OK, Amanda (Ray) Halbach, Geneva, IL; four step great grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law: Harold (Nancy) Kaeser, Neenah, and one sister: Beverly Grimm, Manitowoc. She is also survived by three sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was also preceded in death by four brothers-in-law and her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Emil and Lillian Steeber.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, November 28, 2022, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 S.14th St, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Richard Klingeisen with burial of her cremated remains to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service.
