Sharon "Sherry" Hallada Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Sharon “Sherry” Rose Hallada, age 83, of Two Rivers. Sherry passed away December 29, 2022, following complications of a stroke.

Sherry was born Sharon Rose Niquette on July 1, 1939, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Adolph and Beatrice Niquette. She graduated from Washington High School with the class of 1957, and married Gerald “Jerry” Hallada on June 27, 1959, at St. Marks Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Together, Jerry and Sherry raised four children Julie, Jill, Jeffrey and John. Sherry took pride in her many years at Paragon Electric, working in exports, then transitioned to a full-time loving care giver, as her husband and children all battled with Huntington’s Disease.

While her family was young, Sherry took pleasure in many road trips to national parks. She later took up gardening and enjoyed countless family get-togethers, such as summer trips to the Wenzel cabin. She brought creativity into her many crafts, which included many handmade cards that will be cherished for years to come. Sherry adored spending time with her three great grandsons. Her love was also shared with dear close friends and classmates.

Sherry will forever be remembered for her courageous spirt, never ending sense of humor, and endless bouts of grace.

Survivors include her son John Hallada of Manitowoc; son-in-law Steve Wenzel; sister Lenore (Ronald) McDonough; sisters-in-law Diane Niquette and Sharon (Jerry) Thiry; brother-in-law Wayne (Lorey) Hallada; granddaughters Clare Kutil (fiancé Justin Knode) and Rachel Kutil; great grandsons Noah Schwab, Easton Knode, and Levi Knode. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Sherry was preceded in death by her husband Gerald "Jerry" Hallada; daughters Julie Hallada and Jill Wenzel; son Jeffrey Hallada; brothers Robert and Sheldon Niquette; sister Mary Therese Hallada; brother-in-law James Hallada; and grandson Ryan Wenzel.
