Robert “Bob” J. Werdeo Sr. age 84, of Valders, passed away Friday April 5, 2024, at Willowdale Health Services in New Holstein.

Bob was born on April 16, 1939, in Kiel, son of the late Matthew and Helen (Wendel) Werdeo. He grew up and attended school in Kiel. On July 9, 1960, Bob was married to the former Arlene “Tina” R. Tienor at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Clarks Mills. The couple owned, operated and were proud proprietors of Bob’s Beer Garden in Meggars from 1960 until 1972. Bob then worked for the Kiel High School and retired from St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan. He enjoyed all Wisconsin sports and loved spending time at his place up north in the Wausaukee/Athelstane area.

Survivors include his wife: Arlene “Tina” Werdeo, Valders; four sons: Mark Werdeo and his special friend Judy, Manitowoc, Gary (Heidi K.) Werdeo, Cleveland, Robert (Heidi A.) Werdeo Jr., Kiel, Thomas (Jan) Werdeo, Lenoir, NC; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; one sister: Barbara Marx, Fond du Lac; one brother and three sisters-in-law: Kenneth (Kathy) Werdeo, Plymouth, JoAnn Werdeo, Kiel, Darlene Werdeo, Kiel; five sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Sharon Halbach, Reedsville, Julie Peppard, Manitowoc, Theresa (Gerald) Rabe, Howards Grove, Katie Cook, Kewaskum, Judy (Marv) Kandler, Hilbert; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Matthew and Helen Werdeo; his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Peter and Isabell Tienor; one sister and brother-in-law: Jeanette (Alvin) Strickland; three brothers and one sister-in-law: Elmer (Roseann) Werdeo, Ronald Werdeo, Daniel Werdeo; seven brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Clarence Marx, Wenzel (Mabel) Tienor, Rosie (Paul) Gintner, Eugene (Georgeen) Tienor, Lloyd Cook, Ken Halbach, Chuck Peppard.
