Robert “Bob” Van Lannen, 62, Cato, passed away on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at his home.

Bob was born on July 21, 1959 in Texas to Lawrence and Gladys (Endries) Van Lannen. Bob was a graduate of Valders High School. He dedicated his life to farming. Over the years he enjoyed snowmobiling and spending time with his family.

Bob is survived by his mom: Gladys; brothers and sisters: Richard “Cowboy” Van Lannen, Sue (John) Eppinger, and Tom (Stacey) Van Lannen; nieces and nephews: Casy, Roxanne, Chelsea, Kyle, and Alex. He was preceded in death by his dad, Lawrence Van Lannen.

A funeral service to celebrate Bob’s life will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1pm at Peace UCC, 3613 Waldo Blvd. Manitowoc, with Deacon Al Boeldt officiating. Inurnment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the church from 11am until the time of service at 1pm.
