Ramona A. (Larson) Boutwell

Ramona A. Boutwell, age 81, of Two Rivers, went home to the loving arms of Jesus surrounded by her family on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home. Ramona was born March 6, 1940 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Paul and Albertine (Lesperance) Larson. She was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers with the Class of 1959. Ramona was united in marriage to Tom Boutwell on July 1, 1983 at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Ramona started her work career at Mirro and later worked as a teacher's assistant at the Two Rivers Nursery School until her retirement in 1991. She fought a courageous, faith-filled battle with cancer for 15 years. Ramona was always a good listener, fierce fighter, compassionate person, nurturing and an animal lover. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her husband: Tom Boutwell, Two Rivers; her children: Teresa (Eduardo) Romero, Two Rivers; Tony (Donna) Gretz, Gladstone, MI; Tammy (Tim) Barnardo, Neenah; Trudy (Richard) Snyder, South Milwaukee; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two foster children; one brother: Samuel Larson, Beach, N.D.; one sister-in-law: Jody (Ted) Dubinsky, Manitowoc; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ramona was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson Alex Proffitt, two sisters Lucille Honzik & JoAnn Carle, one sister-in-law Carole Boutwell and one brother-in-law John Boutwell. Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and a Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial of Ramona's remains to be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers at a later date. The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12 noon.
