Peter R. Vanderhoof
Peter was born into eternal life on January 5, 2023. He was born on April 11,1951 in Sheboygan, WI, to Harold and Evelyn (Guhl) Vanderhoof. Peter was a Port Washington High School graduate class of 1969.
Peter served in the United States Marine Corps. He had a never ending ambition to learn and earned an Associate’s Degree from Milwaukee Area Technical College. He was a hard working journeyman steamfitter until his retirement.
Peter brought joy and touched the lives of many. He would light up a room with his smile and cheerful disposition and knew how to make people laugh. He was very kind, caring, generous, and helped anyone in need. He was known by his friends as the life of the party.
Peter was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed riding with friends. Other past times he enjoyed were skiing, traveling, gardening, reading, listening to rock and roll music, and spending time outdoors. Above all, he most cherished time with his children and grandchildren.
Peter is preceded in death by his parents along with his brother Gary. He is survived by children Jennifer, Brittany (Charlie), Autumn, and Kimberly along with grandchildren Kaden, Adalyn, and Keiran. He is further survived by his sister Lynette, nieces, nephews, and wonderful friends.
He will be greatly missed but will forever live on in our hearts and memories. We wish him farewell on his next big adventure!
A celebration of life will be held in Port Washington on May 20,2023.
