Muriel A. (Carter) Cleveland

Muriel A. Cleveland, age 95 of Manitowoc passed away late Sunday evening March 6, 2022 at Harborview Assisted Living in Manitowoc.

Muriel was born on October 1, 1926 in Rice Lake, daughter of the late Cleon W. and Elsie E. (Newcomb) Carter. She graduated with the class of 1944 from Menasha High School. She worked at Theda Clark as a Surgical Technician for 20 years until her retirement in 1984.

Survivors include her nine children: Randy (Carol) Cleveland, New London, Susan (Larry) Janes, Austin, TX, Curt (Connie) Cleveland, Menasha, Linda (Michael) Bail, Manitowoc, Joan Wilharms, Dale, Scott Cleveland, Sheboygan, Chris (Beth) Cleveland, Racine, Guy (Cheryl) Cleveland, Menasha, Rich (Carrie) Cleveland, De Pere; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Cleon and Elsie Carter; one son: Mark Cleveland; one son-in-law: Jerry Wilharms; two sisters: Harriet DeLong, Theta Wainwright; her dear friend; Lucy; father of her children: Richard L. Cleveland, Sr.
