Marlene F. (Riha) Grumann

Marlene F. Grumann, 79, of Two Rivers, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, May 19, 2023 at her residence.

Marlene was born October 12, 1943 in Two Rivers to the late Raymond and Libbie (Urbanek) Riha. She attended schools in Kewaunee and Two Rivers, graduating with the class of 1961 from Washington High School. On April 4, 1964 she married Robert W. Grumann at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, he preceded her in death on November 1, 1990. She was a bank teller at US Bank for many years until her retirement.

Marlene was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. She had a big heart and enjoyed giving of her time to help others, as well as volunteering at the Two Rivers ecumenical food pantry. Marlene was an avid reader, enjoyed playing games and puzzles with family and friends, and spoiling her grandchildren.

Marlene is survived by her three children: David (Cyndee) Grumann, Oconomowoc, Allen (Jennifer) Grumann, New London and Daniel (Michelle) Grumann, Two Rivers; daughter-in-law: Sue Grumann, Green Bay; three grandchildren: Sam Grumann, Ben Grumann, and Rowan Koenig; one sister: Pat Huemphner, Green Bay; one brother and sister-in-law: Paul (Mary) Riha, Egg Harbor; two brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law: Paul (Barb) Grumann, Two Rivers, Carol Grumann, Two Rivers, Gary Grumann, Manitowoc, Karol Knoble, Francis Creek, and Marie Riha, Two Rivers; nieces, nephews, other relatives also survive. Marlene was preceded in death by her parents: Raymond and Libbie Riha; husband: Robert Grumann; one son: Steven Grumann; one brother: John Riha; one sister and three brothers-in-law: Ruth Ann (Charles) Augustine, John Grumann and Bill Grumann; and one sister-in-law: Susan Grumann.

A funeral service to celebrate Marlene’s life will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 3201 Mishicot Road. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the church from 9:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 am. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Two Rivers.
