Mark O. Matthews

Mark O. Matthews, age 63, of Two Rivers passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loved ones on January 15, 2022.

Mark was born November 25, 1958 in Leesburg, VA, son of Margaret (Miller) Matthews and the late Fremont Matthews.  He was united in marriage to the former Nicole Kolkovich on July 22, 2017 in Two Rivers.

Mark retired from the Two Rivers School district as the IT director and was City Council president at one time.  He loved cooking, photography, hiking, bike riding and motorcycles.  He will be deeply missed and loved by his family and many friends.

Survivors include his mother Margaret (Faye) Matthews; his wife Nicole (Nikki) Matthews; one daughter Sara Matthews; one son David Matthews; two stepsons Eric and Koi Smith; three sisters Carol Kiprowski, Margaret Sheflo and Helen Matthews; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Mark was preceded in death by his father Fremont Matthews and one brother Daniel Matthews.

Cremation has taken place at All-Care Cremation Center, Manitowoc and a per Mark’s wishes there will be no services.

Mark was a loving husband, father, son and brother.  He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
