Margaret “Marge” (Stahl) Nething

Our beloved mother Margaret “Marge” Nething, age 89 of Manitowoc, loved roses and flowers. Jesus invited mom to walk with Him in his beautiful rose garden on Monday, April 11, 2022 after she passed away at home. A garden without any weeds, just love and kindness for one another.

Marge was born on May 20, 1932 in Manitowoc County daughter of the late Nicholas Stahl and Lola Stahl. She married John Nething on September 21, 1953. Survivors include their children, Kim, Dawn, Karen, Randy, Paul, Scott, Linda and Renee, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband John Nething, eldest daughter Mary Propson and youngest son Terry Nething.

Mom, you were a woman who was patient, kind and would do anything for others! She was deeply devoted to her family always there for everyone and never saying no.

With all of our travels in the van and in our trucks, going to eat, traveling to Milwaukee, listening to our polkas and best of all going to church at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help, shopping for jewelry and getting coffee. Mom, you will be missed so much.

Private family funeral services were held on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Tom Newton officiated. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.lakeshorefamilyfuneralhomes.com

Moms joy in life was her pet bird “Pretty Bird” and her little dog “Rose”.
