LeeAnn Blazer Obituary

LeeAnn Blazer, age 66 of rural Reedsville passed away early Monday Morning March 7, 2022 at Autumns Promise Assisted Living in New Franken surrounded by her loving family from a long battle of Lewy Body Dementia.

The former LeeAnn Schaetz was born on December 16, 1955 in Green Bay daughter of the late Norbert and Genevieve (Kane) Schaetz. She grew up in the Denmark area and graduated from Denmark High School in 1974. LeeAnn also graduated from the Bellin College of Nursing becoming a Registered Nurse. She worked at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay retiring in 2014. On June 2, 1978 LeeAnn was married to Milton G. Blazer at St. James Catholic Church in Cooperstown. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville.

Survivors include her husband: Milton Blazer, rural Reedsville; five daughters and four sons-in-law: Amber (Craig) Reid, Green Bay, Laura (Scott) Uhen, Grafton, Holly Blazer, Green Bay, Sarah (Mark) Bojar, Cedarburg, Stacy (Eric) Koenigs, Green Bay; one step-son and daughter-in-law: Michael (BJ) Leurguin, Two Rivers; fourteen grandchildren: Paige, Michaela, Logan, Elliot, Alec, Grayson, Camden, Marissa, Jossalynn, Dawson, Abram, Hayden, Easton, Willow; mother-in-law: Anna Mae Blazer, Maribel; one brother and two sisters-in-law: Joe (Lisa) Schaetz, Pat Schaetz; one sisters and brother-in-law: Judy Paral, Sonny Kobiske; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law include: Cheryl Blazer, Jeff Blazer, Diane (Eddie) McKenna, Brad (Diane) Blazer,  Brian (Cathy) Blazer, Greg Blazer, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Norbert and Genevieve Schaetz; her father-in-law; Robert Blazer; one brother: Norbert “Nobby” Schaetz; four sisters and one brother-in-law: Donna (Sylvester) Drewieske, Mary Lou Duckett, Jeannie Schaetz-Kobiske, Rosie Kulhanek; one nephew: Ronnie Bushey.

Memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon Monday, March 14, 2022 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 522 Tower Avenue, Kellnersville. The Rev. Santiago Turiano Jr. will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial. Relatives and friends may call on Monday at the church from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 noon.
