Kyle Herzog Obituary

Kyle Richard Herzog, born April 28, 1991, to his parents Mary and Steve Herzog, was taken to his final resting place on January 14, 2023, with his parents by his side.

Kyle attended Lincoln High School and then went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in Arts.

Kyle worked at Northwestern Mutual for a short period of time, then decided his passion was golf. Kyle was a caddie at various renowned golf courses throughout the United States, which took him to Whistling Straits and Black Wolf Run in Kohler, Wisconsin, TPC Scottsdale, Troon North, and Silver Leaf – all courses in Scottsdale, Arizona. Kyle also caddied at Hillcrest Country Club in Los Angeles, California. Kyle loved being a caddie, working outside, and meeting people from across the world. His favorite location in the winter months was being in Arizona to enjoy the weather, the views of the mountains, and taking a drive up to Sedona to see the beautiful red rock formations.

Kyle was an avid Packer and Badger fan. He enjoyed going to hockey games with his friends in Arizona. On his day off he would go golfing, which was a true passion of his. When working in Wisconsin in the summer months, he enjoyed being with friends and going to Elkhart Lake for the races.

Kyle will be sadly missed by his parents: Mary and Steve; grandma: Phyllis Elner; aunt Patti and uncle Chuck Komorosky; uncle Mike and aunt Amy Herzog; uncle Todd and aunt Karen Herzog; aunt Becky Genske; aunt Ann Lettenberger; and uncle Ted Lettenberger. He is further survived by his cousins: Mellissa Herzog; Jessica and Joe Pope and family; Kayla Komorosky; Allison and Nick Sheer and family; Kevin Herzog; Jake and Brianna Genske and family; Jason and Angie Lettenberger and family; Justin and Marquel Lettenberger and family; and Jada and Chris Peterson and family.

Kyle was preceded in death by his grandparents: Rita and Don Lettenberger; grandfather: Richard Herzog; uncle: Jeff Genske; and great aunts: Mary Francis Otto and Dorothy Willman.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been set up in Kyle’s name.

Mary and Steve are very thankful for the love and support they received from family and friends. They would also like to thank the ICU staff at Honor Health Care in Scottsdale, Arizona. The care unit are wonderful people who helped throughout the grieving process.
