Kenneth "Kenny" Lemberger Obituary

Kenneth “Kenny” J. Lemberger, age 78, of Reifs Mills died unexpectedly of natural causes Wednesday morning February 9, 2022.

Kenny was born on November 13, 1943, in Manitowoc, son of the late Erwin and Alice (Cummings) Lemberger. He grew up in the town of Franklin and was a 1962 graduate of Reedsville High School. Kenny served in the United States Marine Corps from 1962 until 1963. He was the previous owner/ operator of Lemberger Landfill Site Inc., Lemberger Farms; and in 2016 received a lifetime membership award for 50 years of membership in the Operating Engineers Local 139, working for various construction companies throughout Wisconsin.

Survivors include his children: Michele (Michael) Frozena, Manitowoc; Ken “Smoker” Lemberger II, Mishicot and his girlfriend Karen; Mathew Lemberger, Green Bay; six grandchildren: Mykenzie, Lauren, Dominik, KJ, Kendra, and Ariana; mother of his children: Carol (Jim) Fisher, TX and all of the Christianson family; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Pat Lemberger, Nacogdoches, TX, Terry (Sandy) Lemberger, Menchalville; six sisters and three brothers-in-law: J’Ette Marlborough, Manitowoc, Karyl (Robert) Zahorik, Madison, Mary Alice LaCroix, Oregon, Mary Ellen (James) Frelich, Salem, OR, Jodelle (Dan) Wind, Crossville, TN, Jerrilyn Olson, Crivitz; also surviving: Tammy Lemberger, Rebecca, Elvis and his beloved dog Ojee; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Erwin and Alice Lemberger, his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Leroy and Leona Christianson; five brothers-in-law: Donald Marlborough, Richard LaCroix, Fred Olson, Buddy Fisher and Paul LaCroix; two sisters-in-law: Nancy Lemberger, Barbara Wendling; three nephews: Steve Frelich, Jay Lemberger, and Brian LaCroix.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at the Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Home Kellnersville, (1124 Main St.) The Rev. David Pleier will officiate with cremation to follow and burial of his cremated remains in the Knollwood Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 11:00 am until the time of service at 2:00 pm.
