Karen Marie (Wampler) Barlament of Manitowoc passed away on 11 October 2021 from complications following heart surgery.
Karen was born on July 13, 1940 in New Holstein to Ernest and Lucille (Thede) Wampler. She was a 1958 graduate of Valders High School. Karen met her beloved husband, John “Jack” Barlament at W.T. Grant in Manitowoc. They were married in 1961 at St. Mary’s church, and raised five children: Jennifer (Raymond Oliver), Christopher, Jessica, Andrea (Donald Stier), and Jason. Karen was a doting grandmother to 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Karen was the heart and soul of the family.
Karen was preceded in death by her son, Jason; a grandson, Christopher “Bo” Barlament; her parents; sisters Beverly Wildgrube and Darlene Jergenson; and brothers Russell and Victor Wampler.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 110 Menasha Avenue, Whitelaw. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Richard Klingeisen.
