John W. Green

John W. Green, age 57, a Manitowoc resident, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at his home. He was born in Appleton, Wisconsin, son of the late William and Marcella (Bessert) Green. John served in the United States Navy and then worked as an insulator and later as a foundry worker.

John is survived by his wife: Deb Green; two children: Chad William Green and Marcella “Marcie” Green; one granddaughter: MaKayla Marie Green; and three siblings: Nancy & Bill Sterletske and family, Dawn & Richard Coenen and family, and Kelly & Lisa Green and family. He is further survived by Shelly Lyon and Sherry Sagle, as well as aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was further preceded in death by many close personal friends.

Honoring John’s wishes, cremation has occurred and a celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Mud Creek Tap, 545 Manitowoc Street, Reedsville, WI, beginning at 1:00 p.m.
