Jerome “Jerry” L. Storzer, age 74, of Manitowoc, died Monday, June 21, 2021 at Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers.
Jerome was born on August 9, 1946 in Green Bay, son of the late Arney and Elaine (Kittell) Storzer. He attended schools in Appleton and graduated with the class of 1964 from Appleton West High School. Jerry then served in the United States Navy. On November 30, 1968 he married the former Cheryl Staedt at Zion Lutheran Church in Appleton. Jerry was an insurance agent for many years until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years: Cheryl Storzer, Manitowoc; two sons and daughters-in-law: Troy (Fawne) Storzer, Reedsville, Ryan (Jenni) Storzer, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: Shawn, Madison and Kaeden; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Patty (Steven) Dyreson, New London, Paula Staedt, Appleton, Buddy Slizewski, Eagle River; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Terry (Janice) Staedt, Appleton, Diana Staedt, Appleton, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Arney and Elaine Storzer; in-laws: Henry and Irma Staedt; step-mom: Caroline Staedt; one sister: Judy Slizewski; one sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law: Barbara (Edward) Champeau, Thomas Staedt.
Memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, 1124 Main Street, Kellnersville. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:30 AM.
