Elaine M. (Stuebs) Emond

Elaine M. Emond, age 86, of Two Rivers passed away peacefully in the arms of her daughter, Sarah, on Monday, January 3, 2022 at the Hamilton Home, Two Rivers.

Elaine was born March 13, 1935 in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Erich and Caroline (Miller) Stuebs.  She was a graduate of Washington High School, Two Rivers with the Class of 1953. On June 19, 1954 she was united in marriage to Richard L. Emond at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.  He preceded her in death on January 23, 2013. Elaine was involved in the church choir, Ladies Aid and taught Sunday School for many years.  She loved to play cards and to help others.

Survivors include two daughters:  Carla (Cory) Walker, Nampa, ID; Sarah (Fred) Warner, Two Rivers; two sons:  Paul Emond, Manitowoc; Mark (Patty) Emond, Montello; one daughter-in-law,: Joyce Emond, Manitowoc; eleven grandchildren:  Bradley (Danielle), Kaylynn ( Christopher ), Michael, Melissa, Matthew, Christopher ( Brenna ), Mark Jr. ( Mickenzie ), Benjamin, Tyler ( Kaytlin), Isaac, Katelyn (Max); 23 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; two sisters:  Linda (Roy) Schlavensky, Appleton; Diana Mosely, GA; three brothers:  Kenneth (Nancy) Stuebs, Two Rivers; Merlin (Karen) Stuebs, Appleton; Rev. Martin Stuebs, Lake Mills; and sisters-in-law, Judy Stuebs, Doris Stuebs, and Donna Horn; special godchildren Sharon Wilson and Katelyn Elaine Warner; special friend:  Bonny Bitto, Two Rivers; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Elaine was preceded in death by her parents Erich & Caroline Stuebs, her husband Richard Emond, one son Ricky Emond, four brothers Erich Jr., Warren, Eugene and Daniel Stuebs and sister-in-law Jan Stuebs.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 7, 2022 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Two Rivers.  Officiating will be the Rev. Keith Tullberg with burial to take place at Forestview Cemetery, Two Rivers immediately following services. The Family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
