Donald Noll Obituary

Donald H. Noll, age 88, of Two Rivers, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at Northland Lodge, Two Rivers.

Donald was born on October 23, 1933, in Neillsville, son of the late Raymond J. and Rose (Langreck) Noll. He attended elementary and high school in Neillsville. While in high school he was a member of the Wisconsin 32nd Division National Guard. Donald was an indentured printing apprentice while in high school. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force, serving as a tail gunner in B29 bombers with the 98th Bomb Wing during the Korean War. After his required missions were completed, he then served as Air Refueling Boom Operator the remainder of his enlistment. Donald then attended the University of Wisconsin-Stout and graduated with a BS and MS degree in Industrial Education and a MS degree in Guidance and Counseling. He also attended the University of Minnesota toward a degree in Educational Psychology. Donald married the former Lorraine Feuerstein in 1954 in Neillsville and later was divorced in 1972. He married the former Nancy (Porter) Koehler on August 15, 1974. Donald served as a supervisor of Vocational Education for the Department of Corrections in Red Wing, MN for three years, Industrial Education instructor at Weyauwega for two years, Industrial Education instructor in Eau Claire for two years, and Industrial Education and Driver Education instructor in Two Rivers from 1968 until the time of his retirement in 1991. He served in various offices in the Two Rivers Lion’s Club and was an avid member of the Manitowoc Flying Club.

Survivors include his wife: Nancy Noll, Two Rivers; three sons: Andrew J. (Lisa) Noll, Oakdale, MN; Joseph P. (Sally) Noll, Sheboygan; Robert J. (Amy) Noll, Two Rivers; one daughter: Sarah Geiger, Two Rivers; three stepsons: Scot Koehler, Appleton; James (Bobbi Lynn) Koehler, South Milwaukee, Thomas (Marina) Koehler, Clearfield, UT; 6 grandchildren; 7 step grandchildren; 13 step great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends survive. He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Rose Noll; one son: Gregory Noll; two sisters and one brother-in-law: Clara Duval, Lorraine (Bill) Ross.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 20, 2022, at the Knollwood Mausoleum Chapel, 1500 Hwy 310, Manitowoc. Relatives and friends may call on Friday at the time of services at the Mausoleum Chapel.
